Content storage platforms

04/29/2020

In today's article, we'll take some useful platforms to store our resources. In previous entries we gave examples of various programs that make our online courses more interesting in form. We described tools for creating graphics, adding video, audio, photos, clipart, etc. It all takes up disk space … and not a little space. Platforms used to store our files, specific internet magazines, are an excellent solution when we want to maintain order in our "database", and yet it is obvious that a good trainer uses many sources of his extensive knowledge.

Music

  • Freemusicarchive - it's probably the most popular platform that collects a free music library. Importantly, it is completely free, so it is ideal for trainers taking their first steps in the field of remote learning through online courses.
  • Audio Hero - is a huge online library containing over 250,000 sound effects and music tracks available for immediate search and download.
  • Envato - by far the most comprehensive "storage" of files with a user base of over 8 million. A very interesting option is that Envato has its own service store! Envato Market is a collection of thematic platforms on which creatives sell digital assets to help implement imaginative online courses.

Video

  • Video Pexels - is a completely free platform providing video content to be used during your presentations.
  • Videvo - is edited daily with new photos, videos, audio recordings in HD and 4K quality. Very well sorted so that it would be easy for us to search for the content we are interested in.
  • Split - there are 1113 free photos and many more, conveniently sorted into categories, so it is a relatively "young" platform in our ranking.

An additional and very helpful is the fact that many of these platforms offer a base of their own resources for free, which is of great importance, especially for beginner trainers who are "on a budget".
