How to plan well for the new year at work?

01/05/2021

The new year is a time for resolutions, motivation for change. Especially in these tough times, we hope that 2021 will be kinder to us. However, a lot depends on ourselves, so we make plans to develop good habits, set goals. How many of us have promised ourselves to take care of our physical condition? About mental health? Getting your life in order?

In your professional life, too, it's worth developing a good plan for positive change.

Take care of order

If only at the workplace. In small steps. Clean up your desk or locker, sort out documents, get rid of pens that don't work.

Start planning

Buy a calendar or start a bullet journal. Write down important meetings, deadlines, vacations. Start by writing out your plan for the week. Step by step develop and write down good habits. Start saving money. Write down what you're going to spend your paycheck on, how much you're going to put away. Also, remember to have pleasures.

Opt for professional development

Browse offers for business training courses, workshops and conferences that interest you. Enroll in a management course. Get the certification you need. Expand your qualifications. If you plan to change jobs, write a clear resume that no employer will resist. Take advantage of HR consulting.

Don't procrastinate!

What you can do tomorrow, do today. This will help you avoid a flurry of tasks, a metaphorical or literal pile of papers piling up. You'll reduce your stress level, clean up the work atmosphere. Having a looser day? Write an email to send the day after tomorrow. Check off this task as completed. You'll be sure you won't forget about it and get rid of any unnecessary dragging thoughts.

Start the new year positively and stick to this change. Take your destiny into your own hands and create your dream future.
